On Campus Activity Part 2

· There will probably be a lot of mornings that your manager may not arrive at the office until late morning or afternoon.
·We need YOU to step it up while your manager is out.  We are counting on YOU to ROCK the office while we are out advertising.
·In the event of an emergency, know the numbers for your AMs, SM, and DRA for help!
·If anyone from “Officialdom” calls (news agency-paper, radio, TV, or government agency, etc.), we always direct them to our PR Department, Sarah Baker-Andrus: (800) 865-1575; don’t answer any questions.  Still let your manager know who called.

Manager’s Part:
·Active Advertising: Chalking starts at 6AM, tables start before 9 until 2, several hours a day on and off- campus flyering also.  Your managers put a lot of man-hours into campus advertising so it is important that YOU are tuned into taking calls EFFICIENTLY!
·Taking Applications:  When managers take applications at a campus table they give a brief version of what you would say to a caller (don’t worry, it’s scripted) and the person fills out the application right there.  Then they are scheduled for a full interview back at the office.  Please note that for High School on-campuses, your manager doesn’t schedule them for an interview while on campus.  He/she brings the applications back to the office.
·Interviewing at the campus:  Some managers will run the long interview at the campus.  This is usually for schools that are over an hour away from the office.  The interview is the same as at the office but it takes place at the school.
·Handing applications to receptionists immediately! Your manager SHOULD hand you the on-campus applications as soon as he/she walks into the door from the on-campus so you can make reminders for interviews and make sure everyone is in the VectorLive system.  If your manager forgets to give them to you, ASK FOR THEM!  You are a HUGE part of the success of the on-campus.
·Communicating On-Campus Schedule: Your manager should communicate to you his/her on campus schedule in advance, but if they forget, don’t be afraid to ask.
