Now is the time to be checking your daily logs. Are you having 75-100 activities a day? Are you still coming in 15 minutes early to work every morning? Now is the time to be TRUE Recruiting Assistants and really earn your paycheck.
Each of your managers is responsible for footing any expense in his or her own office. So the lights above your head to the Internet you're currently using are paid for directly out of your managers’ pocket. Make sure you are being a valued asset to his or her office by calling ALL your iapps,no-shows, and call-backs! Ask for other things to do around the office to help out. Cut rope, get copies together for training, or clean up around the office for them. Have you ever called training-no shows in your system? Any source you can use to help create the interview is going to create value in you as an RA. So keep these things in mind:
No matter how many income calls are coming into your office it's still our responsibility to do EVERYTHING we possibly can to CREATE THE INTERVIEWS . So please, please, please call Iapps, no shows, calls-backs, training-no shows, resumes, and PRs too.
These are the 3 major aspects of your job:
· To portray your managers enthusiasm and be the "voice of positivity" to our callers. Remember YOU are the first impression of Vector Marketing-regardless if you take 50 calls or 5 you have to treat each caller like it's your FIRST. Be helpful, upbeat, and positive to the callers and do your best to get them into an interview.
· To create the interview: Your job is to set as many people as possible so your manager has a large pool of applicants to choose from for the rep position. It is NOT your job to pre-screen, judge, or manipulate the callers or stats to who you feel can be a rep. Let your managers decide who they want to work within the rep position.
· Have Fun! You are offering such a life-changing, amazing opportunity to your callers!

Hey! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season. When it comes to your show (pr or non-pr) more people will come in the door if you same day schedule! When they come in same day, they're less likely to have something else come up in their schedule. Make sure to offer the next available time every time. If it is still available in VectorLive, we can still scheduled them for it!
Some phrases you can use to help your same day scheduling are: "You sound so awesome and I definitely want to get you in asap. I have one more opening for today at (TIME). Does that work for you (APPLICANT NAME)?" or "I know my manager is looking to start training on Thursday so they asked me to fill the interviews for today. Can you make it in at (TIME)?"

Creating Urgency
5 Steps to scheduling
1. “So ________, while I’m looking at my manager’s availability, why don’t you go ahead and walk me through your schedule for today?”
2. Pause
3. Repeat what they’ve told you one more time
4. Pause
5. “ Oh wow ______, it looks like I can SQUEEZE you in today right after _________(caller’s obligations) at _________(time). How does that sound?
1. Remember, people want what they can’t have. Don’t rush to find an interview time! Play a little hard to get!
2. No Weenie/ Wimpy Words like “ummm, is it possible, do you think you could maybe, ect.” Always assume they want the interview.
3. Keep Control (Be CONFIDENT!)
4. Answer objections before they come up( by getting their schedule FIRST)
5. If the first time does not work; don’t make they feel bad! Just stress urgency of the next time available.
6. It’s about showing the applicant that its in their best interest to come in sooner then later. Tell them that or add your favorite same day phase to the approach.
7. It’s about respecting/understanding where they are coming from but at the time, expressing the importance if coming in ASAP.

Halloween Tip:"Well, ____________, I know that it's Halloween weekend and you probably have some fun plans, so I definitely want to get you in before the weekend so you don't have to stress about finding a job over the holiday."
"Well,________, I know you have plans for later on today, but I would love to get you in today. I actually have a time available at _____. We can get you in and out for the interview before all the festivities start. How does that sound?"
Key to properly building Urgency: Build Rapport to create an idea of your callers mindset and schedule so you know what would make this opportunity URGENT for your caller. Urgency cannot be created without building Rapport with your Caller!!!!
example: From building really good rapport, I know that Johnny is a student with a hectic schedule because he is pre-med. He doesn't have a job right now but doesn't think he has time for it because of his crazy school schedule. I now can make this opportunity a priority and "urgent" to my applicant by using what I know to my advantage. "Well, Johnny, this would be perfect for you because we can work flexibly around your hectic school schedule, and it would be a great way to have a little extra cash coming in. Also, since you are a student, I do want to mention that we have scholarship opportunities to students who work with us. Why don't I go ahead and find a time for you to come in so you can get some more details..."
***BONUS TIP: Great way to build RAPPORT: "So, do you have any fun plans for Halloween?"

Being An Effective Scheduler
You're in Control of a lot more than you think. Don't let your applicant schedule you, odds are they'll turn into a call back or an interview no show.
Sometimes, we feel that we are doing our applicant a favor by accommodating them, when really we are doing a disservice to them. You're the professional, you're the one scheduling the interview; which means, you know best! Nobody goes to the doctor and says to the doctor, you're going to prescribe me this medicine for my ailment. They go to the doctor tell them their ailment, and then, the doctor tells them what they need to do. You're the doctor in this situation. Your applicant has an ailment, being in need of work. They call you, the Receptionist, because they need a job. It's your job to make sure they get in for the next interview, because that will cure their ailment.
How to effectively offer a time:
ALWAYS ask their schedule before you offer a time. WHY? There are a few reasons. First, you're making your caller feel comfortable that you are taking their schedule into consideration when scheduling their interview. Secondly, when you know their schedule, you are able to fight any objections before your applicant gives them (ie: work, school, practice, etc...). You already know that they are free during the interview time, OR you know that they have something going on, and can ask them to re-arrange their schedule to come in at your available interview time. This is A LOT more successful than saying, "I have a time at ____. Can you come in?" Because it's a lot easier to say no to that.
Great line: "What's your schedule like ________? That way I can find the best time for you to come in for an interview."
